The finale involves Alaska, climate change, a secret recipe and yet another family member. What happened to Sol's and Esteban's wedding? How about the Russians?
In Peru there are a lot of goats, llamas, and that's where Sol finds Mercury Lucero. He has his secret too.
Esteban and Mundo are tied upside down, while Sol and Uranus are meeting Estrella Lucero, a real Jersey girl. This is getting really crazy.
Luna is a wanna-be actress who lives in an empty apartment in Los Angeles. She offers Sol a whole new picture on Arturo's life. Get it?
While Mundo gets more and more mysterious, he and his sister find a huge surprise when they meet Saturn and Neptune. It also involves Russia!
Mars lives in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She is beautiful, wealthy, and hates Arturo Lucero. Sol is confused. And why is Esteban on the phone with Mundo all the time?
Sol and Mundo Lucero fly from New York to Mexico to attend their dad Arturo's funeral, just to learn there is a lot about him they didn't know.
The Lucero twins head to a plantation in North Carolina to look for Uranus. Not the planet. But Sol's fiancé Esteban is not happy about the trip.
I don’t even know where to start.
The first thing is that the advertisements don’t make it sound like a comedy, and this is definitely a comedy. Not even a dark comedy, but a silly one. That would be good to know in advance so it gets the right audience.
The second problem is the audio. So many of the voices are just grating to listen to, and so are the sound effects. They also use the exact same instrumental interludes over and over. It’s just painful by the end.
Finally, this is transpho... more
A Radionovela! Twin siblings, upon attending their estranged father’s funeral, realized that they have way more siblings than previously thought. Has the same frothy fun mix of larger-than-life drama and affectionate ribbing on genre clichés as Jane The Virgin.
If you’ve ever watched Jane The Virgin, this is that same mix of frothy, meta, ridiculous, heartfelt, laced with social commentary fun. I listen to this with a smile on my face.
This entire podcast is so entertaining, hilarious and brilliant on so many levels - like an old fashioned radio show, you are drawn into this story from episode one. The storyline, music and characters, with gentle swipes at the current administration, are vividly drawn and superbly acted. I've only listened to the english speaking version although I will be listening to the spanish version to compare them and brush up on my own spanish. By the way, it is groundbreaking in that it is the firs... more
This is a refreshing take on the radio drama. It's entertaining and wildly comedic. It would be great to have more fun podcasts like this.
First time listener and now you got a long time fan. Can't wait to hear more adventures about Sol and Mundo.
I'm always looking for something to listen to while on my drive, so when I heard about this radionovela being narrated by Kate Del Castillo 😱 I just knew I had to give it a try. Loved it being bilingual with an interesting storyline and great actors. I totally binged 🙊👂🏼 listened to this. I was immediately hooked and now I plan to get my mom hooked on this too 😏😎 I want more!!!
So fun! Always looking forward for the next episode
Captivating
Fun story line with great story tellers.
The acting is superb.
Must listen to all of it!
Quiero oír más... more
