  • Tesla Not Welcome

I’ve listened to Jerry and Kevin for well over a decade. Very entertaining and Jerry knows the legacy industry and ICE cars very well. However, I can no longer listen to the disinformation around electric vehicles, especially Teslas. Tesla’s business model threatens the traditional dealership model and I believe that is the basis for Jerry’s obvious bias. I think that if Tesla had franchise dealerships then we would hear a completely different message in the show. Also, some of Jerry’s answers r... more

  • Tesla

I use to listen to you every week but lately you have become way to bias. You love of Lucid Vs Tesla is so ff base it makes me question your knowledge vs loyalty . It is obvious you do not like Tesla because of the way they sell thier cars and thier lack of dealerships. But they are Number 1 period. No one close to the number of electric vehicles out there. I do not like electric vehicles but I crave the truth. I do not believe you can legislate innovation. We need to let the techknoledgy evolv... more

    Gents

Love the show. Long time listener and used your dealers to purchase in the past.

Please tell apple to stop forcing me to listen to a crap partisan show, Christoper Hanz? I want to listen to a car shows, not political drivel.

I’m listening to this weeks hour 2 and this junk show comes on. I double checked to make sure it was not my fault.

This same guys junk show is always on the commercials too during your podcast.

    Please try to fix.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Car Pro Radio Show May 2 26 Hour 2
Q: What should I consider when deciding between leasing and buying a car?
Leasing can be attractive if you want lower monthly payments and the latest features, but you should weigh total cost of ownership, mileage needs, and whether you plan to keep the car long-term; the hosts encourage evaluating both options and using their dealer network to secure the best terms.
Car Pro Radio Show April 25 26 Hour 1
Q: What's the biggest mistake you ever made buying a car?
Listeners are advised to avoid trusting overly optimistic sales tricks, to verify history reports, and to consider the total cost of ownership, including taxes and the true value of a trade-in when negotiating. The host emphasizes using CarPro-certified dealers for reliability and clarity.
Car Pro Radio Show March 28 26 Hour 2
Q: So I just bought a 2026 Hyundai Elantra. What would you suggest on drive modes?
The reviewer advised sticking with Smart mode for fuel economy, noting that Sport mode reduces fuel efficiency but increases horsepower, while Eco or other modes may not always produce noticeable differences; switching modes while driving is fine if you want to experiment.
Car Pro Radio Show March 21 26 Hour 2
Q: Is premium fuel really necessary for my car, and does using regular fuel save money in the long run?
For most regular engines, regular fuel is fine and using premium only provides benefits in high-performance or very engineered engines; the car can adjust and you can save a substantial amount by not using premium unless an exception applies.
Car Pro Radio Show March 21 26 Hour 2
Q: Should I trade in a car that is rarely driven, or keep it as a second car?
In many cases, especially with low annual mileage, it may be better to keep the car rather than trade it in, because the incremental savings from the dealership trade-in may not cover the loss in value and the potential higher maintenance costs over time.
