This is a reimagined and modern version of A Christmas Carol, with a female Scrooge character. Carole Eben is a high-powered attorney whose business partner has just died recently. On Christmas Eve, she’s taken on a journey to her past, present, and future and shown how her choices in life have impacted people. All in all, it’s a great idea, and it’s executed well, though there are a lot of rough spots that need smoothing out.
