  • Talking to themselves, not the listener

I just listened to half of the episode on what is home health care with Debbie Gross. These two women work for Home Instead and are talking about the reasons people call them and make comments like “after a holiday, people call us in a panic after seeing their loved ones becoming frail” and laughing that this is how they get customers.

Caregivers know this already. We don’t care where you get your leads. We need to understand WHAT HOME CARE IS AND HOW IT CAN HELP US. I’m very disappointed.

  • Practical. Valuable. Needed.

Your first topic is one of the toughest! Most of us caregivers don’t call ourselves by that name…we’re a daughter, son, husband, wife, friend, etc. simply helping our loved ones when they are in a space/place of need. Looking forward to hearing more and supporting your efforts. Thank you! Deb
