Brings me back to when I was 10-12 years old. Great fun hanging out with Rick and Bob and rapping Cap. An oasis in the podcast world from the politics and the stress.
This podcast covers all things Cap-related from the 1960s to today. Friendly, knowledgeable hosts bring a lot of fun in every episode. FIRST CLASS PODCAST.
I became a fan of Cap back in 2011 when the first MCU Cap movie came out. I started reading Captain America comics back in July, starting with the original Tales of Suspense stories and found you guys when I was looking around for YouTube videos talking about those issues.
Needless to say, I absolutely loved listening to you guys break down the issues as I read through them and subscribed to your channel immediately! I listen to it as a podcast when commuting to and from work. You guys truly g... more
I came for the J. Michael Straczynski interview. As a comic book creator myself, I am intensely interested in getting inside the head of other creators. But I stayed for the love of Captain America and the love for the medium in general. These gentlemen understand Cap in ways a lot of people miss. I’ll definitely keep coming back.
If you like any incarnation of Captain America, this podcast is for you! Each episode dives into the origins of the characters; good guys, bad guys, villains (listen to the Top 10 list to understand the difference). This has quickly become my favorite podcast.

Listeners are drawn to in-depth explorations of Captain America's comic-book history, with a strong emphasis on origin-era stories, major crossovers, and creator interviews. Episodes frequently blend issue-by-issue breakdowns, art/visual storytelling analysis, and behind-the-scenes publishing context, punctuated by engaging host banter and community-driven segments (brackets, drafts, and listener interaction). A notable niche is the mix of long-form interviews with prominent artists and writers and a fond, enthusiastic dive into Cap lore that appeals to collectors and longtime fans who crave both technical detail and candid creator insights.
