Mike Hamad and the Courant team do an excellent job with this local politics podcast. Concise and well-paced, this is a great distillation of Connecticut politics into an easy-to-digest less than 30 minutes. Contrary to the previous reviewer, I think the production value is great and professional, with excellent quality sound and good editing. It's far from the "a few people chatting around a mic" format that is all too common in podcasting.
I am a big fan of podcasts, and I have been receiving my news in this format for some time, so when I found this podcast about the local politics and news that impact my daily life, I was excited. Unfortunately, the sound quality is far from adequate, and there could be a wider variety of guests. With that being said, I applaud The Hartford Courant for making moves into the world of podcasting.
