  • Truly awful

As it’s the voice piece of the communication business this podcast is well below par. Guests sound like they were called just before recording and worse lack any depth at all. A better listen is Radio 4’s Media Show.

  • Disappointingly uninspiring

This podcast has such a great opportunity due to the topics and current climate, but lacks structure and is an uninspiring listen. The interviewers/speakers are poor and need proper training

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Live from Campaign’s gaming summit: Dentsu on where brands are missing out
Q: Does anybody have any questions for Brent?
A question about integration across branded games, film, and other media was raised; Brent emphasized that omni‑channel campaigns are evolving and should be planned holistically, with careful attention to plan integration and cross‑promotion to avoid waste.
Will Whitehorn: “We have to industrialise in space. It is an imperative”
Q: Give us your shot on that, Will.
Whitehorn explains that the space industry is moving from a fringe, novelty activity to a globally integrated, investment-driven sector with real commercial scale, driven by new entrants and more cost-effective launch capabilities.
Why are in-house teams taking top talent from agencies?
Q: What drives the decision to keep certain disciplines in-house versus outsourcing to agencies?
Decisions hinge on the task, the need for speed and agility, and whether the discipline benefits from external perspectives or requires scale and specialized capabilities; media planning and buying often remain external due to complexity and scale requirements.
Why are in-house teams taking top talent from agencies?
Q: How has ITV Creative evolved over the last year to become a full-service in-house agency?
ITV Creative expanded from a production-focused unit to a strategic and creative partner by bringing in a strategy discipline, appointing new leadership, and carefully deciding which capabilities to keep in-house versus sourcing from specialist partners.
How brands can build stronger connections through values, not generations
Q: What's one simple practical step that marketers can take right now to move away from generational thinking?
Find communities that already exist around shared interests and engage with them.
