  • It’s perfect!!!!

Up until now I was under the impression that I was the only one on this planet that considered Basic Instinct 2 Risk Addiction a, dare I say, tour de force.

As someone that loves camp, and furthermore loves trash movies I have a lot of fun with this podcast. Similar to Risk Addiction, the use of sound bites in every episode careens past overdone and crashes right into perfection.

Also, I personally believe that Carrie was masturbating in the shower. I mean, wasn’t it obvious?

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Red Sonja (1985) w. special guest M.J. Bassett
Q: What should people see this movie?
It's a really good version of a Sword and Sorcery movie. It's got loads of action in it and violence.
Red Sonja (1985) w. special guest M.J. Bassett
Q: Could you tell me about some of the movies that shaped you?
Blade Runner is my favorite movie, right? So there's that. But what influenced me, the Alien is the reason I became a filmmaker.
Red Sonja (1985) w. special guest M.J. Bassett
Q: What is something that unlocks queer joy for you when you're watching a movie or a TV show?
The moment you see people engaging in a real way with maybe, because I'm woke as it comes, right? So it's like I just want to see somebody, see an other person.
Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls (1970) w. Sue Gives A F*ck
Q: What makes a camp movie?
It should be something that dismisses any queer joy, something that has zero legacy, something very intellectual that has zero effect on queer pop culture and is a huge, massive success.
Addams Family Values (1993) w. Choriza May
Q: What makes a camp movie to you?
A camp movie is a bit of an underdog in the world of movies, often unappreciated and misunderstood.
