I have to turn the volume almost all the way up in my car/headphones just to barely hear Chris and Cam and then the ads come in with no warning, not a “we’ll be right back” or a little ringtone or anything, and the ads seem to be at the normal level but since I’ve had to turn my volume all the way up, they are insanely loud in a way that I do believe is causing damage to my hearing. I would love a “really loud ads coming” warning so I can turn my volume down in advance or to have some work done ... more
Great podcast, great content. Unfortunately, the volume is always too low during the podcast especially Chris’s microphone. That it becomes very annoying when the intro or a commercial please. It really does need to be fixed. It’s been an issue for too long.

Great pod — love it. But somebody please get these guys a cough/mute button. Or edit out the coughs into the mic.

Two seasoned hockey-prospect analysts provide analytical, opinionated breakdowns of the NHL draft landscape, prospects development, and the evolving college/junior-to-NHL pipeline. Episodes balance deep-dive player evaluations with timely updates from major tournaments (World Juniors, U18s, Memorial Cup), transfer rules, NIL implications, and team-building strategy, often mixing data-driven notes with colorful banter. A standout trait is the duo's ability to translate complex prospect trajectories into accessible narratives, making it valuable for listeners who want both scouting insight and practical context for drafting, drafting-like decision making, or sponsorship relevance in hockey recruiting ecosystems.
