  • Sound/Volume

I have to turn the volume almost all the way up in my car/headphones just to barely hear Chris and Cam and then the ads come in with no warning, not a “we’ll be right back” or a little ringtone or anything, and the ads seem to be at the normal level but since I’ve had to turn my volume all the way up, they are insanely loud in a way that I do believe is causing damage to my hearing. I would love a “really loud ads coming” warning so I can turn my volume down in advance or to have some work done ... more

  • Volume issues

Great podcast, great content. Unfortunately, the volume is always too low during the podcast especially Chris’s microphone. That it becomes very annoying when the intro or a commercial please. It really does need to be fixed. It’s been an issue for too long.

  • Awesome podcast

Really good hosts and fun topics. Only thing I would work on is the sound, when I listen to the podcast in my car on the road, the volume must be to the max and even with that, I still miss part of the conversation, mostly in the « beyond belief » segment.

Gavin McKenna's NHL Draft Season In Review: Did He Make The Right Call; Did Penn State's Investment Pay Off?
Q: Was it the right decision to go to Penn State, and was that the best decision for him and for the program?
The decision put Penn State on the national recruiting map and yielded some benefits, but the overall investment didn't clearly translate into the hoped-for on-ice results or program-wide gains, suggesting the NIL money may not have justified the outcome.
Gavin McKenna's NHL Draft Season In Review: Did He Make The Right Call; Did Penn State's Investment Pay Off?
Q: Cam, if you could summarize just kind of what you thought in general, because I think it's complicated, there's good and there's bad. But in the end, where did you kind of come out on the season as a whole for McKenna?
McKenna had a terrific statistical season and likely ended the year as the presumptive first overall pick, but development-wise there are questions about how the college environment and excess minutes affected his long-term NHL readiness and whether Penn State maximized his impact.
