Marek is “great” for long form shows (like The Sheet) as he can talk to himself as much as he wants to. He has ruined the DFO flow; every time he joins Jason here I skip the show. Rupp has been great. But.. Frank ? Can he come back ? Marek has to go !
I like Jason’s look at sports but his co hosts are not helping him at all. Marek and his Ron MacLean like stories just kill all momentum of the podcast. And the boot licking, he does to NHL executives and never has an opinion that is less than favourable for a player. all so he can remain a guy they may reply to a text.
I’ve been a loyal listener to the show since around episode 80. As much as I miss Frank on the show I really do like both Marek & Rupper. They each bring different things to the table from Mikes playing days insight and Mareks experience in the media world. Jason has always been alright. A little bit too serious but he’s alright keep up the good work Jason. I enjoy the Gregor/Rupp Friday show a little more only because Gregor/Marek both being longtime hosts tends to clash with both attempting to... more
Jason and now Jeff make this a great show to listen to. If you think otherwise you need some warm milk.
This WAS the best hockey podcast going with Frank/Gregor. Their banter back and forth made this a must listed to pod every week. Really miss not having Frank part of the dfo group. The change on Mondays to Marek has been a complete fail. Marek goes on for 6-7 min about random gibberish while Gregor just sits back and waits for him to finally stop yapping about nothing. It’s just not good radio and exact opposite of what this pod used to be. Fridays with Rupp are much better and he’s been a gre... more

A hockey-focused roundtable and insider show that blends brisk analysis with heated debate on current NHL storylines.
