The hockey content is great, but Colby’s grumpy and sometimes mean demeanour makes the pod hard to listen to consistently. It’s a broadcast, maybe try bringing a little enthusiasm and friendliness to the show. I’ll keep coming back to listen, but always fall off after a few episodes
Colby likes the Oilers strategy of trying to break Panther arms in the third period of Game 3. Why doesn’t the NHL suspend the half dozen Oilers players who were obviously desperately trying to injure Florida’s best players?
Looking forward to a NYR post mortem
Great Show first off, and I loved the discussion on Eichel, everything about the way he plays reminds me of the Dallas Stars version of Mike Modano. Can flat out fly, shoot first center that defends and is also creative. Checks a lot of boxes.
Great pod. These guys are well informed. They need to learn not to talk over each other, and quit rambling on once they’ve made their point. And Colby needs to chill a little and be nicer. But that’ll come with time. The guests they have on are awesome and hopefully this pod stays around for a long time.
