  • Buck is Great!

Best Atlanta sports talk show in the state. Buck’s the man! I was holding on through all the guests after the show time slot change, and completely excited that y’all settled with Kelly Crull as the full-time co-host. Great show!

  • Great Show

Buck has the perfect voice for this.

(Update) the new show is not as great to me. Too many other voices I don’t want to hear but great for Buck I love the show because of Buck. @SportsIslandClub on youtube

  • Buck is Great!

Well, honestly, the show is great. Buck does a great job with analysis and a classic style which can be hard to find. I only gave three stars rather than five due to the sidekick on the show. His contribution seems unnatural and a untrained. Other than that, it’s good!

  • Politics, really Buck? At least get your facts correct

Politics, really Buck? Thomas Crooks's, [the shooter's] father, the owner of the rifle that was used to shoot AT Donald Trump, was held on a database and profiled by the former president's election campaign and identified by them as a strong Republican supporter, gun owner and hunter. Trump was shot AT by a republican MAGA.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Buck Belue Show 6-8-26 Hour 2
Q: What does this mean for college football in general given the injunction and the NCAA's stance?
Buck explains that the situation reveals systemic power gaps and questions about governance, with callers and hosts debating whether external authorities or changes to policy are required to restore integrity, while also considering implications for scheduling and post-season decisions.
Buck Belue Saturday 5-30-26 Hour 1
Q: Why did the teams choose to use their top arms earlier in the regional instead of saving them for later rounds?
The hosts discuss that in postseason play, teams often prefer to win early games to control their own fate, and the belief is that winning the first game can set the tone and avoid a brutal two-game-in-one-day scenario, even if it risks overexposing top pitchers.
Buck Belue Saturday 5-30-26 Hour 1
Q: Is there a sense that Georgia and Georgia Tech could make the World Series this year?
Both teams are viewed as well-rounded with strong coaching, depth in pitching, and powerful offenses, giving them a legitimate chance to contend for the College World Series, provided their pitching depth continues to perform and health holds.
Former Braves Catcher David Ross
Q: What was it on the day to day that he did to create that kind of loyalty?
He treated every player the same, backed them in slumps, and made a habit of lifting them up with positive feedback and consistent respect, which built deep trust and loyalty across the clubhouse.
Georgia Baseball Head Coach Wes Johnson
Q: What's the outlook for the team's leadership and staying focused for Friday nights against top opponents?
We've got strong leadership from Kobe Branch and Trey Phelps, and the goal is to maintain belief and confidence, stay competitive, and lock in for Friday nights against skilled opponents as we chase postseason positioning.
