  • Thank you, Tim

Tim - I have listened to you after Brewers games since I was in 8th grade. I listened to you after leaving every Brewers game at Miller Park. I’m now 30 and still listened up until your last day. Thank you for everything and shame on Audacy doing away with 1250 without any warning. Looking forward to you signing off elsewhere soon.

  • Happy in AZ

After watching the game on the Roku mlb app, it is a pleasure to listen to the post game show via podcast. Win or lose Tim Allen and Bill Taush. They are funny when they need to be, rightfully vindictive on the Cubs and Cubs fans, tough on Yely days off, pretty sure his regular listeners consider them family, and it seems like they could have a brat and beer with any of them. So cool to be in AZ and have access to such cool local WI Brewers content.

If I could call in, I would. Brewers brothers!... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

6-18-26 The Potawatomi Sportsbook Post Game Show: Brewers offense falls short as bullpen blows game to fall short of a sweep
Q: Shane, it seemed like you were kind of battling yourself, battling command, trying to get things on track. What did you feel out there?
Drowan said it was one of those days where he wasn't as sharp as he hoped, he battled, and his job was to put hitters away and keep the team in the game, but command wasn't great.
06-21-26 The Potawatomi Sportsbook Post Game Show: Brewers Avoid The Sweep in ATL
Q: What does Murphy's challenge look like in-game, and how did it affect Gasser's performance?
Murphy described a stern but constructive approach, focusing on belief and execution, which seems to have helped Gasser settle in and pitch more effectively as the game progressed.
Tuesday, June 23rd: Chris Hook Joins WSD!
Q: When he says he needs to put it all together, what are the missing pieces for Brandon Sprout right now?
Sprout has the fewest big-league starts in the rotation, meaning he's the least experienced and will go through ups and downs; he's being worked with to gain conviction and command, understanding this is big-league baseball, and he needs more exposure to adjust.
Monday, June 8th: Tim Dillard Joins WSD!
Q: How important was him getting out of that after Murphy allowed him to stay out there, out there?
Getting out of the jam quickly reinforced the idea that trust with teammates and the willingness to stick with a plan can sustain a pitcher through tense moments.
Monday, June 8th: Tim Dillard Joins WSD!
Q: Did you or when did you for the first time ever do that to a manager or a coach of yours, whether it be high school, college, whatever the case may be, coming up through the minors, did you ever have that first time moment where you're like, okay, I'm standing up to them?
The guest describes a lifelong stubbornness to push back when needed, recognizing there is a time and place to challenge a decision, and emphasizing trust and leverage built through experience.
