A wild west show moves into town and Aunt Bee commits insurance fraud in Andy Griffith Season 6, Episodes 19 and 20 "Lost and Found" and "Wyatt Earp Rides Again".

As we cover our final Glee episode, Season 6's "Child Star", we break down our final therapy feelings about the New Directions, what happens when nostalgia comes for us, and the rich history of tentacle porn.

We spend a lot of this episode talking about Lea Michele's insane broadway career because it's the least upsetting part of what we're going to discuss. This is the Season 5 Glee episode "The End of Twerk" (or something like that, I'm not looking it u... more

  • Hilarious and good social commentary

As someone who comes from Mount Airy and grew up with the show basically being shoved down our throats this show is amazing, I have shared it with all my fellow GenZ mount airy and pilot mountain people who have a weird distaste and nostalgia for Mayberry. Dan and Marty are funny and I appreciate that they give nuanced commentary and that their guest stars have good background knowledge. You guys are doing fantastic!

  • Came here for the nostalgia

This is my absolute favorite podcast…. Currently….

I thought I was gonna get a wholesome throwback to my childhood, thankfully, it’s the total opposite. I never actually realized how hard ACAB hits until I think of Andy and Barney and their silly hijinks. No matter if it’s Andy letting everyone get away with murder, or Barney setting out to meet ones of his ho’s, I can count on Marty and Dan to help me see the real Mayberry.

  • I spent over an hour navigating through Apple’s awful ID creation system just to leave a review.

I spent over an hour navigating through Apple’s awful ID creation system just so I could leave a review for this podcast. It’s THAT good. You don’t need to have ever watched an episode of the Andy Griffith show to enjoy this podcast. In fact, never having watched the show myself made this podcast even better.

  • Defund the police and give the money to Marty & Dan

I really only listen to three or four podcasts because most of them are bad and they should feel bad. Breaking Mayberry is good, though. The only way(s) Marty and Dan (also know as Mary and Stan according to autocorrect— thanks, Obama) could make it better is the following:

    1.) More new episodes

2.) A franchise of “Breaking…” starting with Breaking The Beverly Hillbillies and working their way through the 1966 CBS primetime lineup

    3.) More Marty’s Komix Korner

In conclusion, there are too many... more
