  • Masterclass in Debate & Storytelling

Eli’s ability to deftly & cordially debate Sullivan and Wright for hours as they deployed their intellectual insincerity and mental gymnastics to defend the Iranian regime is a true masterclass. It can be summed up in my favorite line from the Wright episode: “Yes, of course Death to America was not in the Quran. It was written in the 8th century”, “So you concede” ☠️😅🙄

I’ve also thoroughly enjoyed Eli’s storytelling ability in the history narrative episodes as well. Great podcast!

  • Eli Lake interview with Robert Wright

Eli demonstrates the patience of a saint with this man. Wright cannot argue a single salient point, but Eli is cordial all the way through it. I couldn’t care less about anything that Wright can offer in this program, but it is a masterclass in how to carry on a conversation with a complete moron and not lose the thread of your own argument.

  • Great history of leftist lunacy

Great in-depth re-telling of the forgotten roads or radicalism that have brought us to today. Andrew Sullivan is insufferable and sophomoric.

Modern Terrorism Was Born in the 1970s
Q: How did the 1970s shape contemporary terrorism?
The 1970s was a critical moment for modern terrorism, with many young people turning to extreme actions for social change against the backdrop of revolutionary ideologies.
Modern Terrorism Was Born in the 1970s
Q: What was the response to the coordinated hijacking in September 1970?
The response was complex, with tensions in Western governments about how to deal with the situation and negotiations failing, eventually leading to the hijackers blowing up the planes with the hostages evacuated as a statement.
A History of Tough Jews
Q: Why are there no Meyer Lanskys today in the Jewish diaspora?
Jewish communities now rely more on formalized organizations for protection and advocacy, unlike in the past when individuals like Lansky took action against threats directly.
