  • Content Doesn’t Get Much Better!

With so many podcasts on the market today, it is so hard to break through the noise. I was recently turned on to Brave Dynamics by a friend of mine, and after tuning into a couple of episodes, it has made it’s way into my weekly routine! I literally leave 1 un-listened episode in my queue simply because I hate the thought of running out of Jeremy content! Keep it up!!

  • Tim Ferris for SEA?

Enjoyed the profiles of leading Southeast Asia tech founders, executives and leaders. It is a refreshing perspective on leadership and gives insights to the primary preoccupations of the region’s brightest mind. Each episode has given me fresh insight to the emerging trends in a fast growing region. Some of my favorite episodes are:

    1. Looi Qin En on Student Entrepreneurship and Talent in SEA (Co-Founder of Glints)

  • Authentic & Inspirational

I especially loved Episode #10, where Andrew Ive talks about how the younger generation is realizing that every dollar, pound or Euro that they spend is a vote. Incredibly useful in kickstarting my thought process around customers & the entrepreneur’s relationship with them

Eugene Cheah: Open-Source AI and the Future of Work - E686
Q: Who is this tool built for, and how did you think about go-to-market in a new company?
Initially the product was for internal testing, but as it proved effective across different contexts, we redefined our market by building a sustainable model around hosting, inference services, and open-source collaboration. The dual-path approach—research-first with commercial inference—proved essential for long-term sustainability and ROI.
Eugene Cheah: Open-Source AI and the Future of Work - E686
Q: How did you transition from UIlicious to building a new company in Featherless AI?
We started with a strong hypothesis around automated UI testing and AI-driven test generation, then realized the broader potential of the underlying architecture. By open-sourcing and refining the RWKV approach, we saw the opportunity to scale AI inference and support thousands of models, which led to forming a new company and pursuing inference-as-a-service and open-source research in parallel.
Eugene Cheah: Open-Source AI and the Future of Work - E686
Q: For those who don't know yet, could you introduce yourself?
I'm Eugene Cheah, CEO and co-founder of Featherless AI. I focus on next-generation AI architectures that dramatically lower inference costs and enable global-scale AI deployment, including bringing thousands of models online with far lower costs.
How To Win A $1M Prize And Fixing The Global Education Crisis | Adam Huh Dam of Stick ‘Em - EP682
Q: What was it like winning the million-dollar prize?
He recalls the decision to go to the competition, the preparation, the mentor interactions, and the surprise win, highlighting authenticity and traction as key differentiators.
How To Win A $1M Prize And Fixing The Global Education Crisis | Adam Huh Dam of Stick ‘Em - EP682
Q: What do you think the future of education looks like for kids with AI evolving so rapidly?
He discusses two conversations: pedagogy (how to accelerate learning) and outcomes (whether AI should replace certain jobs), and emphasizes that education should teach how to think and learn.
