  • I love you guys, but please sort out your audio!

You guys are the best and post great content in an original way. I get it sometimes you may be travelling, but it would be much better if the microphone quality could improve. Often the audio quality is very poor for several of you. Thanks!

  • Great basketball (and sports) po!

This is my “must listen” pod every week. Usually twice per week and always interesting and enjoyable. No idiotic hot-takes and manufactured controversy, just intelligent conversation about current events in the basketball world with a focus on the Celtics. Gary is the perfect host and keeps things moving. Bob is an absolute legend and fountain of knowledge and memories. The weak link by far is Jeff Goodman. His takes are often way off base and he lives by the tired “I knew that player in AAU” dr... more

  • No to Tanguay

I loved this podcast when it was just Bob and Jeff. I think that everyone that subscribed to the podcast in the beginning, wanted to hear exactly that…two extremely knowledgeable and mild toned guys talk about basketball. Now, it’s Tanguay getting more and more space, abruptly interrupting Bob when he feels like it. I don’t know if his insertion in the podcast was planned, but the show surely lost the appeal it had before.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Should the Celtics Trade Jaylen Brown for Giannis Antetokounmpo?
Q: And my big question to you is Giannis, we know is on the block. Like would you do Jaylen Brown for Giannis?
Yes, I would consider the deal because if Giannis is available and healthy, pairing him with Tatum could create a championship-ready core, though it comes with risks and significant cost in players and draft picks.
All Star Weekend All Over? Chris Paul underrated, and Bob likes the Celts for the run!
Q: How do you feel about the Celtics' prospects for this season?
They're on the right path and making positive moves, but I don't expect them to win a championship this year.
All Star Weekend All Over? Chris Paul underrated, and Bob likes the Celts for the run!
Q: What do you think about Chris Paul's career?
He's one of the greatest point guards, but his legacy is complicated because he never won a championship.
All Star Weekend All Over? Chris Paul underrated, and Bob likes the Celts for the run!
Q: What was your reaction to the All-Star Weekend this year?
The games were competitive, and the new format seemed to work, although attendance was concerning.
Bob Ryan: Misses Old NBA All-Star Game Format
Q: From a fan perspective, if the All-Star weekend went away, would they miss it?
This generation wouldn't miss it much, because they never saw it when it was good.
