  • I love this pod

This podcast is very entertaining. Personally, I think that Chris and Kayla are the best duo. I think that you should have the rookies and bench players talk more. I love the Celtics, and they are my favorite sports team!

  • Losing interest

Forsberg is a green teamer. I like his insights but I’m losing interest. Episodes are often from post-game broadcast coverage. I find myself skipping a lot of episodes lately.

  • Solid but could use some changes

As a west coast Celtics fan this is a great way to keep in the loop and provides pretty good analysis. Dislike when Chris and Abby try to have banter or go off on joke tangents. Also, would it hurt you to do a podcast recording separate from the YouTube? I listen through waaaaaaaayyyyyyy too many sight gags on a podcast and y’all already crimp over half the show from the NESN postgame anyway.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Deep-diving the latest JAYLEN BROWN TRADE RUMORS ahead of the start of free agency
Q: What are the main paths the Celtics could pursue if they decide to move on from Jaylen Brown?
options include leveraging Brown for multiple assets to rebuild around Jayson Tatum, using draft picks to upgrade other positions, and potentially exploring salary-dump or reconfiguration strategies to maximize future cap space; the discussion also touches on the possibility of pairing the picks with players to create a competitive yet financially sustainable core.
Deep-diving the latest JAYLEN BROWN TRADE RUMORS ahead of the start of free agency
Q: How important is an extension for Jaylen Brown given the two-year, $140 million figure being discussed?
The hosts suggest that while the extension makes sense financially for the Celtics in a vacuum, the team must balance Brown's value with the practicality of surrounding him with a supporting cast that can compete under the tax and with the evolving roster strategy, indicating it may not be straightforward to commit to a long-term, max-level deal if it limits future flexibility.
How the Celtics Can Nail Picks No. 27 and No. 40 | 2026 NBA Draft
Q: Which big at 27 could realistically fit Boston's needs and how does Vissar compare to prior Celtics bigs?
Vissar is viewed as a prototypical stretch big with a strong shooting profile and the defensive versatility to adapt to NBA frontcourts, but concerns about his weight and rim protection capacity at the NBA level mean he'd need development time and a system that leverages his shooting and mobility.
How a quieter summer could 'slingshot' Celtics toward future big moves
Q: So what should Brad Stevens do this off season?
The guest suggests trusting the front office while remaining engaged, considering a balance between upgrading the roster and developing internal players, and weighing whether to pursue a multi-year plan versus shorter-term moves to stay competitive.
How much is TOO MUCH for Giannis? How the Celtics can compete with OKC & the Spurs
Q: What are the key trade-off considerations if Boston were to explore moving Jayson or Jaylen Brown for Giannis or similar star talent?
The hosts and guest debated whether keeping Brown alongside Tatum might lock in a contending core or whether the team should consider a more transformative move, weighing peak value against long-term ceiling and the ability to add future assets to remain competitive.
