No chance I’d listen to him and borderliney want to delete the pod. Useless tripe for 30 years

  • Y'all thinking the C's would and should leave the Garden is the stupidest and illogical idea I've heard in a very long time. Just wow. Where the hell would that new stadium go? There's no room. And it makes no sense the Garden is practically new.

  • Good listen

I appreciate that Kaufman is a C’s fan and brings that perspective. He has some good guests on the show. However, in some episodes Evan Valenti sounds like he is talking through a tin can.

The July 2 , 2023 episode title uses the wrong spelling of the word ‘complement’. Compliment means praise. Complement means fit or enhancement.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

678: Most Jaylen Trades Don't Make Celtics Better w/ Cedric Maxwell
Q: Why not keep the Jays together and build around them?
Max argues for keeping the core forward and addressing the roster gaps around a healthy Tatum and Brown, suggesting that moving Brown should only be on the table if a package clearly nets a superior long-term asset, like Giannis, otherwise the team may regret it.
671: Celtics Holding Back in Final Knicks Battle? w/ Keith Smith
Q: What were Keith Smith's key takeaways from the Knicks game and how might Boston approach future matchups?
Keith noted that despite the loss, the Celtics showed organizational depth and a flexible rotation, with Joe Mium - sorry, Joe Missoula - choosing an eight-man rotation to preserve energy. He emphasized the potential for tactical shifts like playing Tatum at the five and leveraging Scheierman's shooting and defense to create bigger lineups and more switchability in playoff scenarios.
669: Tatum's Game Missing One Key Ingredient w/ Justin Turpin
Q: What do you still feel like you need to see between now and the third week of April?
Turpin replies that the shots need to start falling, Tatum's minutes have been ramping up with a managed load, and the team needs to see continued scoring efficiency and playmaking as they approach the playoffs.
664: Tatum Should Come Back SOON w/ Cedric Maxwell
Q: Is Jayson Tatum playing again this year?
Yes, the speakers believe he will return this season.
662: Celtics Vucevic Trade a Cost-Cutting Move? w/ Bobby Manning
Q: Bobby, how do you feel about this subject's Trade Deadline?
I'm conflicted still a day later, and I think I've gone back and forth on it a bunch.
