  • Goodbye

Been a fan of Celtics since I was 6, ten years later it seems like the end of the line, at this point trade Tatum and Derrick for some younger players and first round picks and make Pritchard the main option. Go get some older guys as well to help mentor

  • Love it boys. However, having the Celtics winning 42 is absurd. Brown, Prichard, White - and that talented bench. I had 51 52 easy, in this conference.

My point is most had them closer to 42. That's a 14 W swing. That's why I think Jaylen should have won MVP. Results vs expectations.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mailbag: Paul George DISASTER Scenario & Who makes BIGGEST Leap This Season
Q: Who on the rest of the league might take the biggest leap this season and why?
The host points to wings such as Baylor or Hugo and also mentions Ron Harper Jr., with Ayo Desumu perhaps making a strong case for most improved player in the rest of the league due to breakout potential and increased opportunity.
Mailbag: Paul George DISASTER Scenario & Who makes BIGGEST Leap This Season
Q: What would a realistic contract look like for Paul George in Boston if a trade doesn't materialize?
If no trade is found, a mid-level or near-minimum deal for a limited term could be the path, depending on production, age, and the league's willingness to commit salary for a veteran role while meeting the team's salary floor requirements.
Mailbag: Paul George DISASTER Scenario & Who makes BIGGEST Leap This Season
Q: Even if Paul George opts out, what would it take for Boston to pursue a big trade with him while staying under the first apron?
It would require a careful balance of matching salaries, likely leveraging a combination of players or futures to pair with George's deal, while ensuring the cap sheet remains under the hard first apron. The scenario remains unlikely and contingent on the Celtics finding other pieces to move.
Mailbag: Cap Circumvention ALLOWED? And WHO is NUMBER 2 for the Celtics?
Q: David B wants to know who's gonna be the number two guy next season. Could it be Pritchard?
Derrick White is likely to be the number two on most nights, with Payton Pritchard and others sharing the role by committee depending on the game and rotation.
Draft Picks MORE VALUABLE than ever? Why Not Anfernee Simons? | Mailbag Monday
Q: Where would Dylan Mitchell need to improve most to maximize NBA value, G League vs college vs Celtics organization?
The host suggests that for Dylan Mitchell, the jump shot development and overall NBA-ready skills matter most, and that staying in the Celtics system with professional coaching would offer better long-term development than returning to college, though there are exceptions based on individual circumstances.
