I like this show in terms of podcasts, but in terms of verbal tics, “in terms of” is driving me insane, in terms of mental health. Brian, you speak for a living, in terms of jobs. You need to get this addressed, in terms of becoming better at what you do. I am sorry to be snarky, in terms of negative comments.
As a fan of the Ringer I was excited to find OTP while searching for Boston sports content. I think Brian does a great job covering the leagues and relevant topics of the day! The guests are well spoken and knowledgeable! Also does anyone have a better laugh than James White? This is my favorite new pod I’ve discovered and look forward to every new episode! So grab your iced coffee and download/subscribe! Keep it up fellas!
Love when Brian has Ian on from SoxProspects but when Brian is left to his own devices he ends up sounding like a broken record regarding the Sox and FSG. Guys talking about the Red Sox just being marginally better in 2026 when the offseason isn’t over yet. Brian covers everything with enthusiasm.
He really breaks down the pitch mix and habits of Red Sox players. While I’m sure he despises the Yankees, Astros, etc. he evaluates their teams fairly and is not a Red Sox homer.
Should be essential listening in the coming week as the Sox make their run and the Celtics prepare for their rem... more
