This is a good podcast that covers the current week (like where we’re at), the recent past (like what got us where we are) and thoughts on future direction. Like a little lesson, wise reminders and opportunity ETF’s to look at.

The participants are all professional and appreciated. I tune in each week and have made decent mods and check-ups to my BMO ETF’s portfolio. The intro and summary guy is awesome, the host is awesome and the (usually) two guests are awesome.

CDRs are advantageous for fractional exposure, lower entry points, and avoiding currency conversion and cross-border trading frictions, especially for CAD-based investors.
E325 – Best of: CDRs Explained: A Canadian Approach to International Markets
Q: How does the currency hedge work on a daily basis?
The hedge is adjusted daily using FX forward contracts, minimizing FX exposure so returns are driven mainly by the underlying stock.
E325 – Best of: CDRs Explained: A Canadian Approach to International Markets
Q: What exactly do you own when you buy a CDR?
You own fractional ownership in a foreign company, with voting rights and dividends aligned to the underlying stock, but traded in Canadian dollars with a daily currency hedge.
E323 – A CIO's Framework for Tuning Out the Noise
Q: How do the Five Lenses influence portfolio positioning and asset allocation?
PMs within multi-asset can adjust lens-based overweighting within set ranges, while other asset classes use the applicable lenses in a top-down and bottom-up decision process to balance diversification with risk and return objectives.
E321 – Guided ETF Portfolio Strategy Q3 2026
Q: Equities or fixed income?
Equities remain the preferred exposure, with a bias toward quality and selective AI-related growth, while fixed income is used more for hedging and risk management.
