I absolutely love this show. I am fairly new to podcasting, and have appeared on some, but I love the radio drama skit aspect to it. The impersonations like Schwarzenegger and Stallone are stellar. I have a request. John Carpenter. He really never had a blockbuster after Halloween but he has had a very interesting career. And has a huge following.
My family and I have listened (and re listened) to Blockbuster on our summer road trips for the past 3 years! I won’t knock off a star, but the language in the second season is a bit explicit for kids. Can’t wait for another season - Peter Jackson and The Lord of the Rings, please!!!
I’m not really old enough to have experienced radio shows before color TV but from what I understand, they were produced similarly to this impressive effort. Well done!
Both seasons were perfectly written and produced to deliver entertainment and information. Audio escapism at it’s best. I desperately need a season 3!
Really well made and enjoyable podcast. I’m not even a Star Wars fan but cried during one episode of the first season! A departure from my usual listens but hugely interesting and well researched.
