Golden Daze (spelled Dazed, like the iconic 1993 slacker classic Dazed and Confused) is the only podcast you need if you’re a Golden State Warriors fan who actually wants to understand what’s really going on with the team.
I started listening to Cyrus Saatsaz when he hosted Locked On Warriors. He eventually left because of “creative differences.” In reality, those differences were Cyrus refusing to become a media puppet who spews propaganda just to earn the right to ask softball questions of p... more

I used to listen to the podcast but Cyrus constant whining and complaining became unbearable and he started getting more angry and unhinged with his takes. He started to berate listeners and guests who disagreed with him. He angrily flew off the handle on some joint episodes with Larry Krueger and other guests, so much so that the guest he was berating left mid podcast. After Cyrus accused Larry of lying and Krueger quit doing joint shows with him after that cause dude is cookoo.
Cyrus is the best. Knowledgeable, informed, and fun. Great guests.
These are the daze of our lives and I’m spending them listening to this pod.

A hard-hitting, data-driven discussion-focused show that centers on Warriors analysis, roster building, and franchise strategy. Episodes regularly blend game-by-game postmortems with live listener interactions, interviews with players, coaches, reporters, and industry commentators, and a strong emphasis on development of young talent, front-office decisions, and leadership at the top. The host fosters candid debates about Kerr's pacing, tanking vs. rebuilding, and the team's long-term direction, often incorporating sound bites from press conferences and cross-podcast guest appearances.
