What a treat to have this Dickens classic read (or rather performed) so well - and for free. Thank you! more
An excellent audiobook! The voices of all the various characters is so well done.
There’s no point rating the book. It’s Dickens. It’s wonderful. What I am so excited about is Ms. Nicholson’s narration on podcast form. more
I have read and taught Bleak House more than a dozen times, and the novel comes to life when voiced by Mil Nicholson. There are 57 characters in this novel— and Ms Nicholson brings every conveys the nuances of everyone. Her skill in moving from the narrative voice to the whining Mr. Smallweed, to the delightful Mr. Snagsby, to each of the other vastly distinctive personalities is remarkable!!! I listen over and over to this beautifully-read novel!
I thoroughly enjoyed this reading of Bleak House. Wonderful voices and characterizations! It was such a joy to listen to that I was a little sad when it was over. Outstanding job by the reader.
