The people on it have zero qualifications to speak about football (which is no hindrance in podcasting generally, but is abundantly obvious here). If the episode doesn’t have Sergio in it just skip it. The analysis is anywhere between lukewarm and just wrong. I don’t subscribe to the general disdain towards ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 350: Juve’s goalkeeper situation is untenable two weeks before the season begins
Q: What are your thoughts on the likelihood of Juventus signing a starting goalkeeper before the window closes?
The consensus is that while a signing is possible, it would be a panic move given the timing, salaries, and the premium price of goalkeepers in a club under pressure; meanwhile, some host members advocated sticking with current options and hoping for a mental reset or improvement.
Episode 350: Juve’s goalkeeper situation is untenable two weeks before the season begins
Q: From Joel Brandhorst on Blue Sky, is Di Gregorio the worst starting player Juventus has had in the last 25 years?
The panel suggests that while Di Gregorio has had clear mistakes, there are other short-list names from earlier decades who arguably fit the description; overall, the group views this current era as a unique ongoing struggle rather than a simple worst-ever label.
Episode 332: Juventus close the gap on fourth place as an unlikely hero saves the day
Q: What stood out most about the Genoa performance and the late resilience in defense?
The quick start with a 2-0 lead and the decisive intervention by Di Gregorio, especially the double save, were pivotal in shaping the outcome, with the defense weathering second-half pressure thanks to timely substitutions and organizational tweaks.
Episode 327: Juventus’ Champions League run ends in the play-off round — again
Q: At what point do you think Spalletti benches Di Gregorio for Perin?
The hosts agree that Di Gregorio struggled and that Perin should regain starts if he shows improved form and consistency, especially on distribution, but they note it's not a permanent punishment and depends on fitness and performance.
Episode 323: Good vibes continue to roll in Juve’s win over Parma
Q: What has Jonathan David been doing differently lately?
He's been scoring goals and contributing significantly in attack.
