Michael Carrick's 100% record as interim Manchester United manager (in this spell, at least) has come to and end. It was a disappointing game when compared to the four wins so far, of course, but how badly should we feel?
Let's not forget, it should... more
MUFC's fourth consecutive win continued Michael Carrick's perfect start as Manchester United manager. OK, Spurs held their own until captain "Cristian" Romero was dismissed for a tackle on Casemiro, but the team is growing in confidence and the gap t... more
Lads, it's Tottenham. It's a well-worn phrase for a team that shouldn't be taken seriously; but what to make of this current Spurs team. They remain firmly in the bottom half of the Premier League table and fans are on the edge of mutiny, yet they ha... more

The decision to start inflicting ads on paying subscribers is shameful.
Next time there’s a discussion on the show about the evils of rent-seeking owners in football I’ll pay particular attention (or will try to in the gaps between people trying to sell me stuff I’ll never buy)
A cheap move. And one made worse by the special message we got today from our host trying to sell this to us as a great advance. I thought the team on ToTD would have had more integrity than to act like participants in... more
Great podcast, which I listened to on the Athletic’s platform to avoid ads. Now that this option is no longer available, I’m canceling my subscription to the Athletic.
Great insight and the lads have a great dynamic
I felt compelled to leave a review when on the most recent pod, the gang were talking about being accused of client journalism and being INEOS stooges. This couldn’t be further from the truth. They are passionate fans, but also informed, rational and able to see the bigger picture of how our club operates on and off the pitch. Simply the best United podcast available. As always…Hated. Adored. Never ignored.
This podcast is unbecoming of a great instutition like The New York Times, which owns it. These guys are not journalists, they are propagandists for INEOS. Every signing, decision, appointment is applauded as some kind of masterclass, only for them all to end up with egg on their faces. They are now drooling all over Michael Carrick. It is also unprofessional that they are such overt and unabashed United fans, because it robs them of their objectivity. This is client journalism at its finest. Th... more
