  • Woke Scott

What Scott doesn’t understand is that Ratcliffe’s saying that there should be a sane immigration policy. The proper way is to apply & come over when approved, not crash into Britain & demand housing, welfare & medical coverage while not even trying to assimilate. At the rate Britain’s going you might not even have a country in 5 years( or less) but little fiefdoms warring among each other

  • Bruno not top class?

Had to unfollow the show when your Middlesbrough mate said Bruno wouldn’t get near the Bayern team and that he’s not a top class player. Laughable.

  • The critique of punditry was ridiculous

This precious snowflake was so inaccurate, wrong, and whiny in his episode critiquing the class of ‘92 for being pundits- it made me go from mildly enjoying his pod, to unsubscribing and getting nauseated at the sight of it.

Not only was he totally inaccurate with things he said (like Beckham shaving his head in 98 in the face of the abuse he got from world cup) but everything he said was so misguided. Like… grow up. Don’t cry over two people being pundits and having a laugh about a mediocre cb... more

  • Getting better by the episode

I’m really starting to enjoy Scott’s pods. His balance is great, expectations levelled, and the never too high, never too low mantra is a refreshing change from some of the more negative and critical pods. Well worth adding to your library!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rivals Watch: Chelsea Sack Rosenior, Spurs Face Relegation & Arsenal to Bottle It? (w/ Adam Joseph)
Q: What's the core takeaway about United's position compared to their rivals?
United aren't in crisis and have opportunities to learn from rivals' mistakes, especially around squad depth and transfer strategy, even as the title race unfolds.
Man Utd Transfer Latest: Van de Ven Linked, Anderson's Huge Price & Baleba in Focus (w/ Adam Joseph)
Q: What about van de Ven and the centre-back options amid a potentially limited budget?
Van de Ven's current market value is still debated; the hosts advocate for a senior center back option who can play left-sided distribution and argue for a measured approach given injury histories and the budget constraints.
Man Utd Transfer Latest: Van de Ven Linked, Anderson's Huge Price & Baleba in Focus (w/ Adam Joseph)
Q: How did you interpret the transfer news around Baleba, Baleba's price, and the midfield planning?
We weigh the fact that Baleba's stock has shown resilience and that a 60m price with add-ons could be reasonable if the club believes in his long-term fit, but cautions about overpaying and the need for a balanced midfield trio that fits the coach and club's financial constraints.
Anderson, Baleba, Lewis-Skelly & More: Man Utd’s 2026 Transfer Plans (w/ Graeme Bailey)
Q: What are the priority positions for United this window?
The hosts outline a priority on midfield (Baleba as the holding midfielder and another midfielder), a left back to provide competition for Luke Shaw, and a versatile forward to add attacking depth, with a window aimed at balancing immediate needs and long-term development.
Why I’m Voting for Bruno Fernandes as Footballer of the Year
Q: With five weeks left before the vote, do you think Bruno Fernandes can keep this level up and win the award over other contenders?
Yes, because his all-around impact, including goals, assists, chances created, and leadership, continues to set him apart even as the team evolves and faces tougher fixtures.
