  • Nima’s Pio Esposito rant

Most recent episode Nima went on a long winded defense of Pio Esposito when Carlo suggested he embellishes contact. This rant motivated me to turn off the pod and do other things. Absolutely insufferable reaction to a general observation during Inter’s win over Verona.

  • Inzaghi knows how to use DiMarco

Of the English language Serie A podcasts out there this is my favorite. Sometimes it can be annoying when Nima fixates on a topic and rants over Carlo, but overall quality discussion. These guys have more of a realist outlook versus one or two other podcasts that take a more fanboy type approach.

  • Disappointing

The audio engineering is terrible. Be prepared to turn down the volume when Nima becomes upset. His booming lisp will blow out your speakers and eardrums. Carlo and Nima will often talk in circles and over each others for 5 minutes plus. Carlo thinks David Icke predicted the future. Overall, these guys don’t seem to be the brightest bulbs. It’s unfortunate. There aren’t many quality English podcasts that cover Serie A. Add this one to the list.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Italy 2026 FIFA World Cup Playoffs Squad Preview: Chiesa IN, Buongiorno OUT & More
Q: What do you expect to be Rino Gattuso's squad and who would you both select?
The hosts propose a 27-man squad (per Sky Italia) with a back four as a likely setup, favoring Donnarumma in goal, and a mix of veterans like Mancini and Bastoni with several younger players such as Di Marco, Spinazzola, and Cambiasso; in midfield they lean toward Locatelli, Verratti (rumored return), Barella, Tonali, and Frattesi, while the attack options include Kean, Retagui, Scammaca, Raspidori, and Chiesa as a versatile winger/impact sub.
Milan Derby Preview: AC Milan vs Inter - Lineups, Team News, Odds, Predictions & More
Q: What's your prediction for the Milan Derby?
The hosts expect a balanced, process-driven derby with a likelihood of a measured approach; a 1-1 draw is a reasonable outcome given the current form and standings, with neither side wanting to jeopardize top-four hopes.
Inter vs AC Milan Scudetto Predictions | Top 4 Race | Bastoni Boos & More
Q: With 10 games left, could you predict the top 7 final points totals and final standings?
Inter is anticipated to finish first with around mid-to-high 80s points, Milan and Napoli likely challenging for the podium with roughly mid-80s to low-80s, Roma and Juventus around mid-70s to low-80s, and Atalanta trailing in the lower 60s to high 50s depending on form, making the final positions a tight race.
THIS Is How Italy Qualify For The 2026 FIFA World Cup
Q: Is that the blueprint to qualify for the World Cup?
Yes, there is a sense that the performances by Juventus and Atalanta show how Italian teams can unite, display pride in the shirt, and manage games effectively, which could be translated into the national team's approach to qualification.
Giuseppe Rossi Interview: Juve Crisis | Leao Critique | Fiorentina Woes | Inter's Bastoni Gate | Azzurri FIFA World Cup Qualifiers & More
Q: I want to start off by asking you a little bit about Juventus. It's been a disaster season for them. Which players do you think you wish it by the summer to get back to being the real Juve?
Rossi suggests a clear-headed rebuild focusing on leadership, balance between veterans and youth, and better core personnel rather than chasing individual stars; stresses the need for the right manager and a cohesive project to restore Juventus' competitive edge.
