    I can’t thank Laura and Brooke enough for providing the community with this resource. Not only are the incredibly knowledgeable they provide practical information on what it is truly like to live with a partner with bipolar. I find it so helpful to be able to go to a certain episode that I need guidance on given a certain situations. Not only that but they make the time to respond to you. I have not found any other resource that compares so thank you!

    My SO was diagnosed with type 2 bipolar and is living with undiagnosed cyclical vomiting syndrome (basically, he feels nauseous all the time to the point of frequently throwing up). We live together and I am his primary support. I’ve felt so, so alone. Our life together has not been what I expected. Hearing you talk about how deeply your heart hurt seeing your husband in pain, but at the same time how present your own pain and fear was, was so incredibly validating for me.     I came across this podcast when I needed it the most. My husband and I have been married 20 years and he was just diagnosed with Bipolar. I always knew something was wrong but he wouldn’t get help until one of his hypersexual manic episodes happened and I finally had enough and told him I wouldn’t stay unless he got the help he needed.
