I can’t thank Laura and Brooke enough for providing the community with this resource. Not only are the incredibly knowledgeable they provide practical information on what it is truly like to live with a partner with bipolar. I find it so helpful to be able to go to a certain episode that I need guidance on given a certain situations. Not only that but they make the time to respond to you. My SO was diagnosed with type 2 bipolar and is living with undiagnosed cyclical vomiting syndrome (basically, he feels nauseous all the time to the point of frequently throwing up). I came across this podcast when I needed it the most. My husband and I have been married 20 years and he was just diagnosed with Bipolar. I always knew something was wrong but he wouldn’t get help until one of his hypersexual manic episodes happened and I finally had enough and told him I wouldn’t stay unless he got the help he needed.
