  • The Very Best Parenting Podcast

I started listening to Big Fat Positive when I was “pregnancy curious” and nervous to start TTC, and here I am still listening weekly with a 3.5-year-old and a 6-month-old. Laura and Shanna truly feel like mom friends who just get it. I’ve learned so many helpful hacks and parenting strategies, but truly the best part for me is the constant reminder that whatever chaos, worries, or “is this normal??” moments I’m having—I’m not alone. The thoughtfulness and humor that they approach parenthood wit... more

I am currently child-free and have been listening to this podcast for over three years. I’ve even listened to some episodes twice! I love getting to hear funny stories and parenting conundrums. I’ve definitely learned some great tips to implement with my kids one day. My husband and I are now TTC and one of the things I’m most excited for is to get to listen to the old podcasts week-by-week, when I do get pregnant! Laura and Shanna are definitely the most relatable and down to earth podcast host... more

  • My go-to comfort listening

I found the podcast when I got pregnant last year and listened along with my pregnancy. I picked it back up when my baby was a few months old and I wish I had done so sooner because it’s been like having non-judgemental, funny, relatable best friends to share the experience with. I’ve found motherhood hard AF, particularly as a single parent, and whenever I am having a tough day or night I pop it in my ears and feel less alone. Thank you and please never stop!

  • A Long Overdue Review

I started listening in 2022 when I was pregnant with my daughter and loved the show immediately. Shanna and Laura have created such a genuine, down-to-earth, lovable podcast (and community) and listening to the new episode each week makes my Mondays brighter. Following along in their parenting journeys while navigating my own has given me both practical advice and the encouragement to keep being intentional with my now 3 year old. Give the podcast a listen. You won’t be disappointed! 🩷
