  • What a refreshing way to view the Bible!

I’m a staunch atheist but have always wanted to learn more about the Bible for the cultural value. I’ve always put it off as too boring, that is until now! These two hilarious ladies tell the story of the Bible in a modern and entertaining way that had me laughing along with ol’ Jesus and his pals. And that’s a feat! Keep up the great work!

  • PLEASE READ THE BIBLE FOR YOURSELF!

I haven’t listened to much of this podcast, but what I have listened to is not truth. If you go into this knowing your Bible and knowing that this podcast is very faulty, that’s great. But don’t mistake this for truth if you haven’t read God’s Word. It also makes me sad that these ladies have taken the reverence away from the reading of God’s Word. His Word is perfect, holy, worthy of respect, and definitely worth the time to sit and read for yourself! (:

  • Laughter is the second best medicine... to medicine.

I grew up around the Bible but have recently realized that I don't know as much as I should. We mostly cherry pick through it, choosing what we like and ignoring the rest. It really is a strange book, but it was written 3000 years ago by a culture halfway around the world. I mean, people from Vertmont weird me out. Anyway, I'm currently on a program to read the entire book in a year, and this podcast has been a great help to me. It's a good summerization of key stories, and they point out detail... more
