I have listening to this podcast for over 5 years now. I love the stories, I love Andrew’s voice because it is so soothing (my main reason to listen), and I wish more people listen to them so they can be aware of their surroundings.
I’ve been listening since this was recommended on another favorite podcast of mine. The Howie Mandel ad that plays has been brutal lately. Multiple times per episode, loud and wakes me up each time. Please let this campaign be over soon.
Someone is upset that a homeless person is walking his dog and is in their neighborhood. Another story a few episodes ago was about a person driving through a “bad” neighborhood. Bruh— some of these aren’t scary stories, and some folks submitting sound like Karens with unfounded fears because nothing harmful happens to them! Being uncomfortable/inconvenienced and being threatened (physically or psychologically) aren’t the same thing. Please be more selective!
I used to love this podcast but over the last few months the number of ads has become unbearable. Each episode starts out with multiple ads, then a story or two followed by more multiple ads, and repeat for the duration. There are more ads than stories, and often the same ad plays multiple times in a row! I get that the podcaster needs to get revenue, but this once great show is now unlistenable.
