  • Insightful

As someone raised by atheist parents, this podcast has given me a lens into a different world. I’ve watched a lot of documentaries about people who have left religion (typically in extreme cult-forms), but listening to conversations on the topic hits it from a different angle. Excellent interviewer, too.

At the time, it was something that I really needed, but now looking back on it, I see how harmful it has been and how it has really ruined some relationships.

Q: If you had to describe the reason why you left, if there is a way to pinpoint it, what would you say?
It happened over time, starting after turning Bar Mitzvah, due to the overwhelming contract of rules presented at that age.
