  • Essential listening

If you can find a more reflective and knowledgeable show on the infinity of psychotherapy than ‘Between Us’ let me know. I find it to be essential listening for those curious or working between Psychotherapy and Philosophy. The combination of Totten’s gentle reflection and Mason’s thorny eloquence make a great partnership and an ongoing listeners pleasure.

  • Devolution

This show started strong: very interesting exploration of what relational approaches contribute to psychotherapeutic tradition. But it slowly devolved into another culture war vehicle. The creator’s initial even-handed thoughtfulness gave way to trying to win back his critics. Went from being a favourite to something I can no longer listen to.

  • Great show!

I’ve been listening since the beginning and have enjoyed listening on my morning walks here in Flagstaff, AZ. I find myself literally replaying the segments that hit home in my personal life and with my clients. The show provides great insight and explores different avenues that I’ve also haven’t touched on and I also love the movie introductions at the beginning of each episode.
