Along the way Pete and Fran will meet Hollywood stars involved in bizarre plots and speak to famous figures from history, all in the name of finding something, anything, that's b... more

These two have great chemistry and keep you laughing. I love their reviews and how they get to laughing when thinking back to certain scenes.
Keep up the good work!
A wonderful show that takes a look at all there is out there that isn’t better than Robing Hood: Prince of Thieves. I love that her favorite movie is Robin Hood and he is trying his damndest to find a better movie. Black hole was not it lol. They are very cute couple and definitely a great listen
Unique concept that stands out! Solid content and banter each episode! - #ODPH
Love the concept of comparing films to the (arguably?) best film of all time—Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. What I really love, though, is just listening to these hosts talk about movies. The banter is a delight, with random non-movie-related segments thrown in just for fun. Reviews are legitimately thoughtful—Pete and Fran know film and they know how to talk about it. Great podcast for movie buffs and anyone looking for a light, fresh listen.
The best podcasts find a unique niche to fill, but with this show I thought there was no way something so specific could really work for more than a few episodes at most. Can I just say that I'm an idiot! I love the angle of the show, but like all good shows, the concept itself is really just the avenue through which the hosts can let their personalities and chemistry shine, and not many do that better than Better Than Robin Hood! If your favorite movie is Prince of Thieves, tune in to see if yo... more
What a delightful idea for a podcast! The hosts have a great dynamic, and the interjection of Hollywood starts is brilliant. I wish you good luck in finding a movie more wonderfully terrible than Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Keep it up!!
One of my absolute favourites. Brilliantly put together, funny and sweet. Some of the sketches are excellent too. I’m not sure you’ll ever be successful in your quest though. Prince of thieves was pretty damn sweet
First of all, I love their accents! I was so entertained as they “interviewed” their dog post-surgery lol. And they kept me engaged throughout the rest of the episode. Looking forward to listening to more of these two!

Speed is one of my fav's and this couple and their podcast made it that much better!!! Between the scene break down, random guest interview and their dynamic with eachother, amazing. Keep it up.
I really enjoy the concept of this podcast. A cool and calm movie podcast seeing how others compare to Fran's favourite film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Started off with their episode comparing other Robin Hood movies and enjoyed the banter. Subscribe and listen now!
