A murderer is sent to a penal colony that is actually a small town and then he gets wrapped up in an extensive political intrigue? I mean who wouldn't want to listen to what happens in that. Also people are invisible here sometimes and that's just a lovely touch. It'd be easy to waste the richnesses of the premise, but this team never does.
