Dr. Friesen covers so many topics that I know new educators will find challenging, and she shares how she and other teachers navigated these situations. As a student studying to become a teacher, I find her approach both encouraging and practical. She comes across as warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, and I’m excited to try some of the classroom management techniques she shares when I have my own classroom one day.
If I had this podcast when I was half way through my career
I never would have left! My weak spot was Classroom Management.
This is one of the few resources I’ve found with so many practical ideas. (If I get another summer school or Teacher Librarian job I certainly will subscribe.)
Thanks!
Because of being a member of Lori’s program, I felt extremely confident going from being a PE teacher to teaching third grade. My first week of school, the superintendent wrote a personalized note with how impressed he was with my class and they featured me on school district Facebook page showing what my class was doing. I couldn’t have done this without you!
I am a 5th year level 5 teacher and every podcast leaves me with an actionable item that I can easily implement. Beginning teacher talk takes things off my plate and helps me create the ideal learning experience for my students.
I’m so glad I found Dr. Lori’s podcast before I started my first year teaching. This helped me so much and gave me so many tips. I didn’t feel as overwhelmed and ill prepared thanks to Dr. Lori!
