  • Loved season 2!

    I’m cheating a bit because this is more about the show than the pod. Season 2 is one of the best new seasons I’ve seen in a while. It is incredibly layered with couple, generational and cultural conflicts colliding in a way that felt both true to life and utterly fantastical. Must have been a real challenge to write this with so much subtext! Amazing performances all around, and Charles Melton is going to be a huge star (first time seeing him, so impressed!).     The creator plugging his podcast at the end of the abomination that was season 2 is so gauche. Particularly as he patronizes podcasters “I’m a treasured Hollywood award recipient, yet here I am hosting a tawdry podcast”

    This show was terrible. In one night Josh does a deep dive on Tinder, nearly gets murdered, begs his wealthy friend to escort him to Asia, accommodates Burberry, and flies halfway round the world.
