Q: What are the biggest clinical and administrative hurdles for your 6,000-member community, and how will you guide the organization through them?
The top hurdles are burnout, pre-authorization, administrative paperwork, and the financial pressures that constrain time and resources. We're focusing on providing tools to reduce cognitive load, standardizing workflows, leveraging AI, and improving communication to keep members informed and supported.

Q: Reflecting on your term as president, what are you most proud of and what opportunities excite you going forward?
We reestablished leadership communication and reorganized the operational structure, creating a more agile council and governance that supports 6,000 hip and knee surgeons worldwide. We also emphasized education, inclusivity, and a streamlined approach to member services and fellowship recognition, positioning the organization for ongoing growth and leadership development.
