  • Love GTF - Hate your Internet

Love the GTF show and getting Greg’s insights. That said, you guys have got to get the internet issues fixed. The issues have been going on for as long as I can remember. In this day and age, I don’t understand how it continues to be an issue week after week. Outside of the internet issues, I love the show.

Can’t wait for a Greg Gabriel episode. That gentleman knows his stuff . . . and everyone’s other stuff!

But Aldo, you’re forced laughter is a bit cringe worthy.

    Thanks!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Scouting | Gabriel Talks Football
Q: What are scouts looking for in linebackers for a modern defense?
Instincts are paramount; teams want anticipators who can read formations and react quickly, with speed and range to cover the field and make plays.
Gabriel Talks Football | Scouting
Q: How did you get into scouting and what drew you to this career?
A lifelong fascination with individual players and a desire to understand what makes them succeed at the next level, starting from childhood observations and culminating in formal roles with NFL teams.
Bulls Gold | Bulls Draft Caleb Wilson and Dailyn Swain; Trade for Nic Claxton
Q: What are your thoughts on the Claxton trade and how it fits with the Bulls' cap strategy?
Claxton is a capable starting center at a reasonable price for a couple of years, which helps the Bulls' immediate floor while they continue to build through the draft. However, there are questions about long-term value given back injuries and whether the price was optimal compared to other upgrade paths.
Bulls Gold | Bulls Draft Caleb Wilson and Dailyn Swain; Trade for Nic Claxton
Q: What were your initial thoughts about the selection of Dailyn Swain at 15?
Swain fits a 6'7" wing archetype with playmaking ability and defensive versatility; while his shooting is a work in progress, his size and ball handling stood out as a swing for upside rather than a direct fit, which Bryson Graham seemed to prioritize.
Does Zavion Thomas Have Some Hester In Him? | Gabriel Talks Football
Q: Is it important to see them play special teams in college?
Yes. The Bears scouts and coaches consider college special-teams experience as a predictor of future role, projecting players who showed aggressiveness and versatility to become core special-teams contributors.
