Reviews

4.6 out of 5 stars from 11 ratings
  • Irish guy is just awful

I hate to review so low given I’m a big fan of EJ on bootleg and even here, but the Irish guy speaks so lackadaisical and low energy that it’ll put you right to sleep or at the very least disengage the audience. He takes 5 minutes to drudge through a point that can be explained in 30 seconds, and the worst part is, it usually isn’t even something novel or interesting. Some people aren’t meant to be podcasters and that’s okay. He fits that bill.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Bears Handle Business vs Browns & Reclaim NFC North Lead | Can They Avenge Loss to Packers?
Q: Should the Bears push for a playoff run even if it means risking player health?
Yes, but with sensible management—prioritize rest for key veterans and starters when needed to maintain long-term health and playoff readiness, while still pursuing wins to solidify the division and playoff position.
Bears vs Ravens Review + Bengals Preview | Bear Era Podcast LIVE
Q: What upgrade at running back could help the offense, and is there a risk in trading DJ Moore?
They suggested a mid-tier upgrade at running back to complement Deandre Swift, while cautioning that DJ Moore has trade value but may not fit with the long-term plan. A favorable move would be to trade Moore for a draft pick and use that asset to address other offensive needs, such as a pass rusher or a different back, while ensuring the replacement fits the system.
Bears vs Ravens Review + Bengals Preview | Bear Era Podcast LIVE
Q: Why did the Bears struggle to punch it in in the red zone and what can be done to fix it?
The group discussed how the lack of a reliable inside run game, miscommunications between Caleb Williams and DJ Moore, and inconsistent offensive line play inside the red zone have hampered execution. The consensus was that improving the run game, refining route timing, and potentially adding a better complementary back could help, along with keeping Caleb in a structured system until the players gain more chemistry.
