SOUP!
More thoroughly researched than it has any right to be, more interesting than it really should be and fun even in the film's dullest minutes. It's Bat-tacular!
More like YES Minute '89, am I right?
Fun! Witty! Bat facts! MINUTES! What more could you possibly want?
I HOST THE SHOW. Does that make me biased? Yes, yes it does. Should you listen to me? Still YES. Hosted by one Bat fanatic, Niall and one guy who just likes movies, me, we chat about the film, investigate, dig into it and try to figure this thing out one minute at a time. We do all of this in a light, fun, breezy kind of way and, oh yes, we can go very off topic! Delightful. Come and join us at Bat Minute!
A super fun podcast that looks at the Batman movies one minute at a time. I love the dynamic between the hosts and they get some really cool guests on - lots of women too, which I appreciate. The minute-by-minute thing is a framework for conversations about many topics and I really enjoy that as it keeps things from getting boring and repetitive. Highly recommended! Really fun and funny!
I’m only 8 episodes in to season 1, but I love the ‘cast. Can’t wait to binge
Jon and Niall are super fun to listen to cover these BatMinutes and I couldn't be happier to have them in my feed. Their episodes are long but are chock full of great converstions on minor Bat Villians or character actors, or alternative cuts of the films. Hopefully Jon will read this and finally play Company of Heroes with me after I bought it for him so we could play while he streams it. but whatever I gave an honest 5 star review so my conscience is guilt free.
Pants or no pants, independent banks are your best option.
Minute by Minute is such a great idea, and the Tim Burton Batman films are two of my all-time favourite comic-book/blockbuster movies, so I'm pleased to say that Niall and John are superb hosts, displaying an infectious enthusiasm in their thorough analysis of these fascinating films.
They're great whether commenting on their own or alongside a guest (and so far all of the guests have added something really positive to the project), and I look forward to their thoughts on Batman Returns, a film... more
Jon & Niall bring humor, great enthusiasm, deep pop culture knowledge and creativity to each episode of this thoughtful and delightful podcast. So excited for season #2!
The guys are great. Great Batman takes left, right, and center.
A witty, fun and interesting analysis of a classic ! A must for bat fans.
Effortlessly hilarious without being snarky, informative without being just a Wikipedia podcast.
Have you ever danced with the devil by the pale moon's light? I end all my reviews that way. I just like the sound of it...
The sound of witty banter, true friendship, and love for a film and superhero classic.
Listening will reignite your enthusiasm for the summer of Batmania. The guys and their wonderful guests offer humorous and thoughtful insights into the film's production, comic book origins, and contemporary reactions to a film now 28 years old.
Who are Niall & Jon?
THEY'RE BAT MINUTE '89!!
Lot of fun listening to these guys! Lots of great guests!!!
Jon and Niall are the kings of Bat Minute ‘89. They are are very fun to listen to and bring a lot of cool information about the movie and the behind the scenes. Their passion for the movie is only matched by their enthusiasm for Prince. I am excited to see where they go with the podcast and I’m ready to learn as they continue through the other movies in the future. Keep it up guys. -Adam the Creator
