  • Can’t do it anymore

My favorite things to do is catch the wrap and the highlights after a win during my happy hour…can’t do it anymore.. 3 rounds of ads dropped in randomly to a 6-10 minute show is yes…torture…KNBR has totally lost the plot

  • Wrap still missing

There are so many other shows on the bigger KNBR app that it’s a pain to find the wrap. I still don’t understand why they don’t put the wrap here.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

5-27 The Tony V Show
Q: How do you look at it?
The guest explains that Eldridge is becoming more comfortable with teammates and surroundings, and his decision-making at the plate is improving as he gains veteran-like understanding through film study and live at-bats.
5-20 The Tony V Show
Q: What are your thoughts about Will Brennan leading off today?
Will Brennan has been in a tough spot coming off the bench, but his recent at-bats show improved approach, making him a valuable top-of-order option and giving the lineup balance as he steadies into regular ABs.
5-18 The Tony V Show
Q: What stood out about the lineup tonight and the strategy behind Casey Schmidt's new position?
Vitello explains that Schmidt's move to left field is a calculated, practice-backed decision intended to maximize the club's defensive flexibility while still leveraging Schmidt's offense, with prior work in Sacramento and LA validating the plan. He emphasizes balancing development with immediate needs, and notes that the setup allows Bryce Eldridge and others to get at-bats and continue their progression within the team.
5-14 The Tony V Show
Q: What went wrong on the base-runner decision in the late innings?
Vitello explains that the base coach's role is to remind about outs, but the runner ultimately has to manage their own awareness, and the scene was a rare, complicated moment where several factors—outs, positioning, and the outfielder's potential throw—converged in a way that led to a misreading.
5-10 The Tony V Show
Q: What can fans expect from Sam Hentges and Dylan Smith?
Hentges has a big, athletic frame and a left-handed presence with a history of success at the big-league level, while Smith brings a four-seam fastball and a very good sweeper that has been a difference-maker for him; both are expected to contribute in relief.
