Out of an extremely limited number of actually good and interesting music podcasts, I think this one is the best I’ve heard. It’s well conceived, well executed, and well hosted & produced. I love the juxtaposition of bands in each episode and the extensive research that clearly goes into it. Really excited for Season 2.
I was typing keywords to find podcasts about texas punk, and this podcast came to my via Instagram. Don’t know why the algorythm didn’t pick it up sooner. Anyway, I’m two episodes in, and it’s great!
Finally a music nerd podcast that feels relevant and useful and not just about “the boys” and all the stuff we already know about - and heck it’s an easy listen! I 💖 barely human.
Feels at times like he’s aiming for a job at the ABC with how cautioned and disclaiming it is, but it’s very well put together, covering bands and themes of integral interest to me and found little elsewhere in the podcast landscape.
Well structured, informative and 10/10 interesting! A must listen
