As an armchair explorer and spiritual adventurer I am really happy someone shared this podcast with me. Thom is an awesome interviewer and also tells amazing stories about Mount Everest and his many wild adventures around the world. He’s also a learned person, sage like is a better way to put it. Have a listen and ‘be inspired’.
So many good things to say about the HQ. The explorers part, climbing, on the ocean, looking for both inside and outside recognition and learning.
The music is fabulous, great blues and awesome players.
The spiritual side offers such great insight, it’s a package of entertainment that resonates with me, that’s for Sure. Art, adventure and keeping the soul fed.
What a fantastic podcast! Thanks Thom for your insights and for bringing such a great mix of guests to your show. The theme song is awesome too!
Thom Pollard does a great job of bringing his guests to life. I always learn and laugh. Some times cry. And am often inspired to act.
I love listening to Thom Pollard. No matter the guest, no matter the content, TDP is an easygoing and engaging host. I first met Thom, along with Mark Synnott and Rick Wilcox, at a speaking event in North Conway, NH celebrating their respective expeditions to the top of Mt. Everest. I am a fan of all three men, and was super happy when Thom launched his podcast. It's great to have a steady stream of content from such an interesting and genuine person. I've also been fortunate enough to photograp... more
Thom invited me on his show. I loved the experience, and enjoyed someone getting me to speak about things I rarely do. After listening to a few of his other podcasts, I realized how much he held back, let me talk, and listened.
Thom is an incredibly deep, thoughtful, and kind host whom straddles many idioms. More than anything else, I love going deep and talking philosophy with people who aren’t just intelligent - but live their truth through action.

Pollard has had a truly inspiring life as an adventurer and documentary maker. He climbed Everest three times and sailed the Pacific in a reed boat amongst many achievements.
Here he enjoys fireside chats with people he’s come across from around the world, in a casual and relaxed manner through the subjects’ philosophies, anecdotes and life lessons. Highly recommended.
Much needed positive spin on the human condition through interviews and views. Thom is a great host.
Still holding true to form... I feel like I’m just pulling up a chair and listening to a good story/ conversation. Story telling, something I think has been lost and Thom really satisfies that human need. Again, So happy that Thom is spreading his knowledge and adventures through this medium. He’s just one of those people who has a great knowledge of life, the world, and the human spirit.
