Robert Emery is a conductor, pianist, composer and record producer. The Times called him 'the eccentric barefooted maestro' and the Mail quoted that 'the assured baton was controlled by the rather energetic and brilliant conductor'. In this show, he digs deep into the psyche of world-class performers, finding out how they went from zero to hero by delving into their path to stardom.

Listening to Stewart Copeland's words, having admired his technical supremacy as a drummer for many years, was a breath of fresh air, especially as he does not give interviews often. Robert Emery managed to draw him on his back ground and upbringing and also to expand on his musical heritage. It was a great listen, and well done Robert with your inaugural blog.
Intelligent and insightful podcast. Look forward to listening to more.
Just finished listening to Robert's first podcast - interview with Stewart Copeland which managed to be informative, entertaining - at times hilarious- and hugely energetic. Look forward to the next one!

I wondered why you had chosen Stewart for your first podcast, but actually he was a really interesting guy. What a varied life he has had. I'm interested to see who you will interview next.
