Oh boy. ------ To be fair, while we talk about toys, we do so in grown-up language so our podcast would need the "explicit" distinction. Brought to you by T. J. INC., Thick Skin Creations an... more

“Back Through the Basement” has been a life saver during this pandemic! Not only do Julee and Tom absolutely crack me up, but if you have siblings, you can completely relate to this podcast. Speaking of podcasts, I may be one of the only people in the world who don’t listen to a ton of ‘casts, but there’s something about “Back Through the Basement” that keeps me coming back. Bravo!
This is a delightful podcast to which everyone can relate... the joys, pains and emotional turmoil that "going through your old toys" can be... We all stay kids, ranked and filed in sibling order, and it's fun to listen to Tom and Julee's banter or yesteryear. Fun podcast!
Not only am I a fan of listening to this incredibly fun and joyful Podcast, but also loved being interviewed by Tom and Julee Who are not only gracious hosts, but brilliant and funny and playful.

I love listening to this podcast! I laugh, I cry I vow to go through my own basement. This is a special family and I am blessed to have worked with “Mom” (my angel) and count her among my closest friends. And her & “Dad’s” kids are so talented and amazing. Thanks for this audible ray of sunshine
It’s personal and often poignant from some enormous talent. Geeky and unabashedly so, and clearly a cut above from a production standpoint. Kudos to the hosts!
If you're a fan of 80's nostalgia; Stranger Things references; classic Spielberg, Disney, Henson, Star Trek, Star Wars, Hasbro or ANY toy of your Gen-X childhood, you have to listen to this. If you're a collector of pop culture, you have to listen.
Filled with heart-felt emotion, the hosts are irreverant at times, and filthy-dirty on occasion. It's ALWAYS funny.

Tom and Julee help bring back memories of toys and mementos anyone in their 40’s can completely relate to. Hearing these two together is so much fun because they are like the same human in 2 separate bodies. Tom’s different voices are so entertaining, and Julee is equally as talented. It’s a real peek into the life of 2 adults who grew up in Boston, Massachusetts who revisit their childhood.
I enjoyed listening to this podcast so much on my drive to Maine. I loved hearing Tom and Julee share stories of their childhood and look at things now with a different lens. ~ I love the closeness you share! Sometimes families grow apart with time and it's so nice to see how close you two are. I have a big brother, which is one of my life’s blessings. Thank you ~ I will listen to more on my way home today.

This is a really well produced and funny podcast. Got it all- nostalgia, Boston accents, arcane but funny Star Trek and Star Wars references. Try a few episodes , this is bound to make any car trip go by faster.
I had to tell you that I started listening to your podcast today and couldn't turn it off! I don't know how you make going through your basement so entertaining, but it's pretty darn funny. And sweet. I spend a lot of time in the car and you two were my driving entertainment today. So thank you! I look forward to continuing to listen to more.
I’ve tried listing to several Podcasts and I end up falling asleep or say dreaming. Not this time! The hilarious banter between these 2 siblings takes me right back to when I’m with my own sister going through old memories. The “just about to pee yourself “ laughter is exactly what we all need. The Boston accents, Julee’s super contagious laugh, oh and the amazing basement finds that we know we all have somewhere. The Wuzzles?? LOVE!!! I highly recommend to all, grab your coffee and enjoy!... more

The wheezing giggles, multiple impressions, sound bites from their childhood as they unwrap all of our favorite child hood treasures, topped off with the comedic and natural chemistry of these two dear siblings is absolutely everything!!! Its a warm hearted and hysterical trip down memory lane that everyone should listen too. :))) More please!
Not only is this podcast a treat and delight to listen to; not only are the co-hosts clearly passionate about their memories for their childhood and are immensely talented with humor, banter and spot-on impressions! I’d like to weigh in on the production value!
Having worked remotely recording and editing numerous projects, I can attest: It is NO SMALL FEAT to pull off a sound and a feel that is as seamless as Back Through The Basement. The intro reinforces they are recording in LA and Bos... more
