I recently switched over to Media Composer after being a longtime FCP user. The various techniques and tricks that Christian demonstrates in the Avid Screencast are fantastic. He really helped open my eyes to the power of the Media Composer and it made the transition a whole lot easier. It is well worth your time.
Those who can should teach and then there's this fellow. "Uh…" seems to be his favorite word. I think about half of my professors in college were like this guy -- knowledgeable but excruciatingly boring. But, it's free so you get what you paid for.
