I’m getting close to 50 (eek!) and I am self diagnosed with similar symptoms to my daughter who has been diagnosed with ADHD, ASD, and Anxiety. I feel like everything in the first handful of episodes is incredibly relatable. I’ve struggled with alcohol for both dealing with social anxiety but also for trying to get outside of myself. I have also wanted to un-alive multiple times throughout my life. Especially when it feels like the near-typical world just does not want me in it. more
As a late diagnosed AuDHDer I am loving this Podcast. You are so good at articulating masking and how it plays a roll into friendships and just overall social interaction. I have never been able to explain why it’s so overwhelming to be around multiple people or have multiple relationships until now! So thank you for that.
Super helpful and insightful, it’s so nice to hear someone talking about experiences in a way that makes sense to me.
As someone on the Autism Spectrum. This is relatable, informative, & really captures the interest of the listener.
